What is your primary professional focus in any or all of our mission areas (clinical, research, and/or medical education)?
Clinical and medical education and patient-based research.

What drew you to UW-Madison and the Department of Medicine?
The reputation of UW Department of Medicine and Division of Infectious Disease as long-standing pioneers in academic and cutting-edge research.

What are you most excited about during your first year with the department in this role?
Availability of options and resources within the Division of Infectious Disease and UW as an institution as well as the level of peer and division head support to pursue my areas of interest within Infectious Disease.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
Reading, gardening, traveling.

Favorite piece of advice from a mentor or inspiring figure in your life?
Life can be cruel, but always aim to bear it gracefully.
